Funding
The way your business is funded can make a big difference to how sustainable it can be. Where possible it should be self financing where their income is enough to cover their expenditure. This is not always possible so some organisations need additional funding to assist them. This can be done through grants or via fundraising.
Raising additional funding is a key area in childcare, and it is equally important to make sure that you have adequate funding whether you are a private business or a voluntary group. There are grants available to the private sector, however most grants are offered to voluntary charitable groups.
