The Dorset Sure Start Unit has responsibility for taking forward the National Sure Start strategy - a commitment to deliver:

The unit provides a range of support, advice and guidance for all those working in childcare and playwork, (including those considering this for a career) and for those running and managing provision. Support and guidance is also available for parents and carers.
